Leadership in Action

Students Leading with Purpose

Student Council is an operative group conducted by students and supervised and administered by an adult. Its purpose is to give students the opportunity to develop leadership skills by organizing and carrying out school activities and service projects.

Each class in Grades 8-12 elects one representative to serve on the Student Council. The council then elects a president, vice-president, treasurer and secretary, and meets bi-weekly to plan, collaborate and take action.

  • Representatives from Grades 8-12
  • Student-elected council officers
